Hey y’all, I’m Mindy DeLano—a North Carolina native, longtime Charlotte local, and Huntersville and Lake Norman resident since 2005.
I don’t just help people buy and sell homes here. I help them understand what it’s really like to live here—from the personality of each community and the daily drive to the local places, lake life, and neighborhood details you won’t find in a listing description.
Before real estate, I spent 15 years in healthcare working with providers and insurance companies to help patients get the services and medications they needed. That career taught me how to negotiate, ask better questions, explain complicated information clearly, and advocate for people when the stakes are high. Those same skills now help my real estate clients make smart, confident decisions.
Today, I serve buyers, sellers, and relocating families throughout Charlotte, Huntersville, Lake Norman, and the surrounding communities. Whether you’re moving across town, relocating from another state, buying your first home, preparing to sell, or searching for a higher-end or waterfront property, I’ll help you look beyond the pretty pictures and understand the whole story.
My style is honest, practical, and personal. I’ll tell you what I see, explain what matters, and help you build a strategy that makes sense for your life—not just the transaction. I often tell my clients that if I wouldn’t put my own mother in a house, I’m not putting them in it either.
I’m an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®), have completed At Home With Diversity® training, and hold the REALTORS® Commitment to Excellence endorsement. I’m proudly affiliated with Premier South and bring years of real estate experience to every client I serve.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me around Huntersville or Lake Norman, cheering for the Charlotte 49ers, Carolina Panthers, or my favorite NASCAR driver, listening to Dave Matthews Band or Carolina beach music, enjoying a local IPA, or trying to convince my yellow Lab, Salem, that she is not actually in charge.
