What is it about a career in real estate that is so rewarding for me? Helping people! As a full time agent for over 25 years in the North Pittsburgh area I have been involved in hundreds of transactions. The satisfaction comes from helping a client find the home that they can begin a new chapter of their life in, because “home” influences so many things in life. It also comes from helping a client sell the home they are currently in to be able to make a change in life, whatever that may be. I never expected that my background in art and psychology would meld so perfectly into real estate! My art background allows me to help with staging a home to make it appealing to as many buyers as possible. It also helps me to help buyers envision what a potential home could be. And of course real estate is also about understanding people, motivations, and negotiations.
I’ve experienced quite a few market changes over the years and I’ve acquired a thorough understanding of the north Pittsburgh area and the local conditions that make us unique from the rest of the country. My success in real estate is the result of hard work and my commitment to excellence manifested in my caring for and communication with clients. There are few things in life that are as stressful as selling or buying one’s home. The fact that most of my business is referral or repeat business speaks directly to my capacity to make selling or buying a home as comfortable and painless as possible.
