Monika loves being a realtor! She believes that home ownership is an important part of the American dream and represents a proud achievement for every homeowner. Monika grew up in an Air Force family which moved often in the U.S. and abroad, so owning a home was a goal her parents reserved for their retirement. They bought their first home when her father was 42. Monika bought her first home when she was 22 and have bought and lived in many homes since that time. Over time, Monika also became a real estate investor and learned first-hand that a good Realtor is your best partner in charting a path to financial success in this complicated and ever-changing business.
After successful careers in both the public and private sectors, Monika decided to use her experience as a dedicated homeowner and investor to start a second career and become a full-time, full-service Realtor. Monika offers her clients the highest level of competence, care, and committed service. Monika treats each client as if he or she was her only client and she places a high value on open and frequent communication. Monika is a good listener and will tell you what is happening or, alternatively, that there is nothing to report!
Monika is a licensed in both Virginia and Maryland and real estate rules, practices and laws are different in each state. She participates in both mandatory and voluntary continuing education classes to stay abreast of current critical issues or changes so that she can offer her clients up-to-date, highly competent advice and guidance. When collaborating with sellers, Monika offers excellence in pricing, presentation/staging, marketing, and advertising, contract negotiation skills and the ability to close the deal. When collaborating with buyers, Monika offers her knowledge of the local market and local community, access to financing, a purchase strategy, contract negotiation skills and an ability to close the deal. Many of her clients are first time homebuyers and Monika loves collaborating with members of the armed services. Recognizing the stress that comes with buying and selling a home, Monika’s goal is to make the home buying and selling process stress-free and productive no matter what local market conditions prevail. Monika is proud of the fact that her previous clients have become her friends and continue to refer their family, friends, and associates to Monika. Her business is now based on these referrals, and she will never be too busy for yours!
