About Monique

My love for real estate started back in California when I was 19. I took all the necessary classes and then the market crashed, not a great start! Accounting became my fall back career. Although accounting was my job, I always kept a pulse on the real estate market. Little did I know that I would end up back in real estate, only this time on the East Coast.

I moved to Colorado in 1997 with my 2 children, Bishop and Bronte. While there, I met my future husband and Master Brewer, Robert Kuntz. Believe it or not, I was the girl next door! We both had purchased a side of a duplex. His side was remodeled and my side was a disaster! The next 6 months would be filled with him watching me renovate my side, all the while getting to know me. We call it "Our Dance". The renovations paid off and those duplexes became our first income properties. Soon after we were married, our daughter Gabrielle came along! My time became filled with raising her along side her brother and sister all the while making calculated personal real estate decisions for our family.

Moving often has been such a common theme in my personal life you would think I was military. My husband’s job has relocated us many times. We moved to Vermont for a couple of years and while there I started a staging business. Through the encouragement of a friend and realtor, I got my real estate license. Soon after, my husband accepted a job at Stone Brewing Company in Richmond. We moved to Richmond in 2019 and it has been one of the best places to live. So good in fact, that our children, Bishop and Bronte - now adults - moved in 2021 from Colorado to live near us.

Not only has my accounting background helped with my personal finances and investments, but my experience living in very different and diverse real estate markets allows me to share unique insights for my clients.
