As a lifelong Pennsylvania resident, I understand that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction—it’s a major life event. My passion for real estate comes from a lifetime of experience in housing, family businesses, and serving others.
After marrying my high school sweetheart in 1999, I moved across the street and have remained deeply connected to my community ever since. My husband and I have raised two adult sons and a teenage daughter. Our oldest son owns Yoder Custom Cabinetry & Designs LLC, continuing the entrepreneurial spirit that has been a part of our family for generations.
Growing up in a family business and being involved with rental properties throughout my life has provided me with valuable insight into homeownership, property management, tenant relationships, and real estate investments. These experiences help me understand the unique challenges and opportunities that buyers, sellers, and investors face.
Before becoming a real estate agent, I worked as an instructional teacher assistant in an elementary school, where I developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills while helping children succeed. Those same skills now allow me to guide clients through the real estate process with patience, understanding, and attention to detail.
My real estate experience includes navigating a variety of situations—from successful settlements to unexpected challenges. I understand the emotions involved when transactions don’t go as planned, including contract terminations following natural disasters, delayed settlements due to required repairs, title and easement issues, and the many hurdles that can arise before closing. I have also experienced the excitement of successful listings, well-attended open houses, and helping buyers find the right home.
One thing I’ve learned is that no two homes and no two transactions are ever the same. Every client, property, and situation requires a personalized approach.
