Nancy Hamilton is a highly accomplished real estate professional with deep roots in the South Shore community and decades of experience helping clients achieve their real estate goals. Raised in Rye, New York, and Greenwich, Connecticut, Nancy attended Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts, before graduating from Wells College in Aurora, New York.
Following college, she relocated to Boston, where she worked at Design Research in Cambridge and later with the Opera Company of Boston. In 1966, Nancy married Tom Hamilton, and the couple moved to Cohasset in 1967. After living in a carriage house on Jerusalem Road, they settled into their home at 363 Jerusalem Road in 1968, where they have remained ever since. Together, they raised two daughters, Jessica and Tegan, while Nancy devoted her time to family life, community involvement, gardening, sailing, tennis, golf, skiing, and volunteer work.
From 1984 to 1994, Nancy successfully owned and operated Nancy Hamilton Interior Design, building a reputation for creativity and attention to detail. In 1995, she joined Dean & Hamilton as Office Manager, and in 1997 earned her real estate license. She quickly transitioned into sales and established herself as one of the area's leading residential real estate professionals. By 1998, Nancy was thriving in the industry, capitalizing on a strong market and her natural ability to connect with clients.
For more than 16 years, Nancy consistently ranked among the top 10 brokers in Cohasset, including numerous years in the top five and several years as the area's number one broker. Her background in interior design provides valuable insight into staging, presentation, and maximizing a property's appeal, while her passion for gardening enhances her expertise in curb appeal and exterior aesthetics.
