Nancy Perkins

As a lifelong Alexandrian, Nancy is passionate about this small town on the river’s edge. With a strong sense of goal, attention to detail, a personal touch, and boundless energy, Nancy serves her buyer and seller clients with determination, discretion, and a proven record of exceeding expectations. Nancy’s nuanced knowledge of the local neighborhoods combined with over 20 years of experience in client services ensure Nancy’s clients enjoy exceptional service. Her detailed property marketing strategies are innovative and truly extraordinary. Prior to her real estate career and armed with a high school degree from St. Agnes School in Alexandria, and multiple degrees from Duke University, Nancy pursued a career emblematic of the local Washington workforce. She worked for eight years in the U.S. Senate, as well as a federal agency and national non-profit. In addition, she ran her own successful government relations firm. Nancy currently serves as a board member on the St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School Alumni Council, in addition to supporting the Historic Alexandria Foundation, Supporting Friends of the Campagna Center, and the Duke University Women’s Forum. When she is not selling real estate, Nancy enjoys long walks with her dog around Old Town and the Mt. Vernon Trail, playing with her daughter in the local parks, dining in Alexandria’s best seafood restaurants and ice cream shops, family outings to Mount Vernon, shows at the Little Theatre of Alexandria, paddle boarding on the Chesapeake Bay, and skiing the local slopes. Nancy is an 18-year resident of Old Town’s historic homes with her young daughter, husband, and Portuguese Water Dog.
