Senior Land Advisor and Managing Broker, Nancy Surak, offers clients both transactional expertise and a deep understanding of marketing strategies developed over more than 25 years in the commercial real estate industry. Nancy specializes in land advising and land brokerage throughout the Tampa Bay region specifically for land development opportunities. She has closed over $464,000,000 of land transactions.
The Florida Gulfcoast Association of Commercial REALTORS® awarded Nancy Tampa Bay’s Overall Commercial Real Estate Deal of the Year in 2020, 2018 and 2014, and recognized her with the Overall Land Deal of the Year Award five times. She received the 2021 Tampa Bay Business Journal Best Real Estate Deals Community Impact Award and the 2016 Sales Transaction Excellence Award from CREW Tampa Bay, an association of professional women in commercial real estate. In addition, she was honored to be among the Gulf Coast Business Review’s “40 Under 40,” and was named the “Top Woman in Florida Commercial Real Estate” by the Florida Real Estate Journal.
Nancy is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and holds the the REALTORS® Land Institute’s Accredited Land Consultant designation (ALC). She is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI).
She currently serves as past President of Tampa’s Real Estate Investment Council. In the past, she served on the board of directors of the Florida Gulf Coast Commercial Association of REALTORS®, Tampa Bay’s Urban Land Institute Management Council, Leadership Tampa Bay, and the Pasco County Economic Development Council.
Nancy earned a bachelor’s degree in international trade and finance at Louisiana State University and a master’s in mass communication at the University of Florida. She taught real estate management as an adjunct professor at The University of Tampa and is a frequent speaker at industry events, including Tampa Bay’s ULI Trends Conference, the National Association of REALTORS® Conference, Greater Tampa Association of REALTORS® and the annual NAIOP Tampa Bay Broker Update.
