Nathan Garcia

Nathan Garcia was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on June 20, 1979. He moved to Ocala when he was 8 years old where he attended elementary and middle school. Just before entering high school, his family moved to Citrus County, where Nathan was active in high school athletics, including football, baseball and golf. He graduated with honors from Lecanto High School in 1997.

As a graduate from Florida State University, Nathan received Bachelor's Degrees in Finance and Real Estate. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. After college, he moved back to Ocala where he was employed by SunTrust Bank as an A.V.P. and loan officer in the Commercial Real Estate Department with a $25,000,000 loan portfolio. He also completed the Management Associate Program while employed there.

Nathan started with McBride Land & Development Company in April of 2005. His interests include outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and playing golf. Nathan was married to his wife, Erika, on March 02, 2013.

He is the co-chairman for the Andrew J. Semesco Foundation (www.ajsfoundation.org) golf tournament, which raises money to support oral cancer research, and he is also a mentor in the Take Stock in Children program funded by the Public Education Foundation of Marion County (www.pefmc.org). He has been an active member of the Ocala Lions Club since 2005.
