Nelson Sanchez

Nelson Sanchez is a two-time graduate of Louisiana State University, first having graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness, while lettering as a varsity swimmer. After working for a few years as a personal trainer and swim coach, he answered the call to go back to school to study his passion, which was the design and development of land and buildings, and earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a Minor in Construction Management. He has worked for more than 15 years in the commercial construction and architectural fields as a Project Manager and has produced complete construction documents and specifications for small and mid-sized projects, both private and public in nature. In addition to design and drafting, he has extensive experience with estimation of construction costs, site design and layout, construction administration and closeout procedures, as well as a great working knowledge of governing codes and associated permitting agencies and authorities having jurisdiction.

His dream of combining real estate development with architectural and urban design has finally come to fruition and for the last few years has enjoyed combining his design and construction knowledge and management skills with the real estate skill set he has garnered to assist clients with putting together the best possible scenario for a successful business venture.

In addition to architecture and construction, Nelson has founded an LLC which has been devoted to rehabilitating dilapidated properties in distressed local areas. He is adept in providing pre-development services including site analysis, planning submittals and financial assessments. His specialties include retail and investment real estate transactions and he is also fluent in both Spanish and English.
