About Niamh

Niamh Elizabeth DiOrio was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and has been a Great Falls resident since 2009. She studied Voice at The Royal College of Music Dublin and Long Beach City College in California. She moved to New York City with her husband in 1996 and immediately pursued a career in the jewelry industry where she worked in the Diamond District on 47th St. She was Sales Manager for Irving Lang Inc. and the Carrera Casting Company. Her clients created designs for names such as Cartier, Harry Winston & Tiffany and Niamh was responsible for translating those designs into product. She was an active member of the Women’s' Jewelry Association where she promoted executive positions for women in the luxury goods industry. She helped raise scholarship funds for talented young designers and mentored young women starting out in the industry. Today Niamh lives in Great Falls, Virginia with her husband, their three lovely children, Abigail, Kathryn & James as well as two dogs, Buster & Finn. Niamh is a licensed Realtor in Virginia and is a certified Military Relocation Professional (MRP) working with both national and global clients. In her free time, Niamh is active in the Great Falls Lacrosse Community where her husband has served as the Boys Commissioner since 2013.She has recently taken an interest in golf and is keen to improve her tennis skills. She enjoys the beach, fishing, volunteering and music while spending quality time with friends and family. Niamh and her family volunteer at their Church and with “Our Daily Bread “, a creative Fairfax County organization that offers support to struggling families through education and financial support.
