About Norman
Norman knew early that he would aim to consolidate the brokerage and legal aspects of real estate transactions for both buyer and sellers. This would allow him to provide clients with a much more efficient buying/selling process that included less stress and of course, save them money!
He began working at what he calls the big brand agencies in real estate. He was working as an in-house attorney and moonlighting as an agent at the same time. He learned the business and how the large brokers operated, and he quickly saw opportunity. He felt sellers looking to list their properties were expected to pay far too much in commission given the property values of today. Buyers serviced by these larger firms were also being under appreciated. Yes, they received assistance and guidance in their buying process, but at the end of the day the day they receive little from their agent/broker besides a referral to a costly real estate attorney and an inexpensive bottle of champagne.
He aimed to change all of that! He dabbled at a few different brokers and with a few attorney colleagues of his own until finally at the tail end of 2016 forming Connell Realty, Inc. He set out on a mission to establish a real estate brokerage firm that allowed sellers to sell their home at affordable commission rates, provided buyers with more than just that cheap bottle of bubbly at closing and offered free legal services to all clients throughout their transactions.
