Carteret County has been a second home location for me and my family most of my life as far back as 1960 so I am familiar with the market. I retired in 2003 from a successful automotive career with the final 15 years with Evans Ford in Kinston. In 2004, I moved to Carteret County full-time to pursue a career in real estate. In 2009 I became broker-in-charge of the Atlantic Beach office of First Coast Realty. Then in May of 2010, I moved to Beaufort as broker-in-charge. 2017 brought about changes within the company and we combined both offices at our Atlantic Beach location. I am now back to being the Broker in Charge of the Atlantic Beach office.

I have been the top-producing individual agent in the company for two years running. I am a graduate of the Realtors Institute and a past President of the Carteret County Association of Realtors. I am married to Norma Jackson, and we have three children, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. We currently reside in Morehead City. I love the local communities and am active in the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce and our Small Business Roundtables. When I am not working, I can often be found on a boat relaxing at Sugarloaf Island.
