Omer Salem

Omer Salem career has been highlighted by achieving business growth and exceptional performance in the real estate industry. His deep and broad experience in real estate includes significant responsibility and achievement in the areas of investment sales, leasing, acquisition, and mortgage banking in both the United States and overseas markets. Throughout his career, Omer has originated multi-million worth of residential and commercial real estate mortgages. He also advised and traded more than a billion dollar worth of real properties.
Currently, he is a Managing Director at Salem Advisory, LLC – a private real estate firm based in New York City. Salem Advisory provides a full range of services to real estate occupiers, owners, and investors worldwide.
Early in his career, Omer founded and led three successful enterprises: a mortgage banking company, which he grew from its inception to eight figures in annual revenues; an appraisal and real estate advisory company operating primarily in California and Egypt which leased more than 1 million square feet to a number of the world’s largest and most prestigious multi-national corporations; and a San Francisco advisory firm involved in acquisitions, repositions and leasing. The combination of continued advances in technology and a volatile global economy presents the real estate professional with both opportunity and challenge.
Omer Salem is a licensed real estate broker in New York and Connecticut, he holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering from the University of Californian in Berkeley and a Master of Arts from Yale University.

As an extracurricular activity, Omer Salem authored and published three books on peacebuilding and peacemaking between people of different cultures and religions based on their sacred literature.
