About Ophelia

A place to call home...I think that's what most of us think about when we are considering the purchase
of a new home. That was certainly on my mind when I decided to make the move from Charlotte, NC back to the Sumter, SC area, where I was born and raised as a child. I had lived in Charlotte for a number of years, which is where I raised my two daughters and received a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Queens University as a full-time working adult. After receiving my degree, I worked for many years at an insurance company and a major bank in Charlotte. Over the years, I have developed a passion for traveling and experiencing other cultures. Thus far, I have had the privilege of visiting Mexico, Germany, Turkey, South Africa, and Israel, to name a few. However, no matter where my travels take me, it is always comforting to know that I have "a place to call home."

For me, being a REALTOR is more than just showing a client a list of available houses or putting my sign in front of a client's home to attract buyers. I am the type of REALTOR who is with my clients every step of the way in the process of either buying a new home or selling their current home. If selling, I know the market and have the know-how to help my clients prepare and price their home to sell!
