Patrick Watkins is a seasoned real estate professional and Co-Owner/Managing Broker of the Mike Watkins Real Estate Group, one of the most established and consistently top-performing teams in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Based in Greenwood, Patrick has been serving clients across the Southside of Indianapolis and northern Johnson County since earning his real estate license in 1997. Over the course of his career, he has been part of more than 6,000 closed transactions and is consistently ranked in the top 1% of agents by the Metropolitan Board of Realtors, Top Producer Magazine, and the Indianapolis Business Journal.
A graduate of Center Grove High School and the University of Indianapolis, where he earned a degree in Marketing and Graphic Design, Patrick brings a unique combination of market expertise, strategic marketing, and real-world construction insight to every transaction. With nearly three decades of experience, he specializes in residential sales, new construction, and helping clients navigate important life transitions with clarity and confidence.
Patrick is known for his direct, honest approach and his ability to simplify what can often feel like a complex process. Clients rely on him not just for guidance, but for straightforward advice that helps them make informed decisions—whether they’re buying, building, or selling. His background in marketing allows him to position homes effectively in today’s digital landscape, while his experience ensures potential challenges are anticipated and addressed early.
As part of a true team-based real estate model founded by his father in 1995, Patrick works within a collaborative environment where shared knowledge and accountability benefit every client. Today, alongside his brother Chris, he continues to lead the business with the same principles it was built on: strong work ethic, clear communication, and a commitment to making the real estate process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Beyond his work with clients, Patrick has contributed to the real estate industry as a speaker at multiple national Star Power Conferences and on various different panels. He has also served on the Metropolitan Board of Realtors Grievance Committee and is consistently recognized in Who’s Who in Real Estate.
Deeply rooted in the community, Patrick serves on the Board of Trustees at the University of Indianapolis and remains actively involved in local initiatives. His commitment to service has earned him the 2024 F.C. Bud Tucker Community Service Award and the 2025 Southside Spirit Award, recognizing both his community involvement and ethical business practices.
Outside of real estate, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife Barbara of 25 years and their two children, Jackson and Miley. When he’s not working with clients, you’ll likely find him on the golf course or the pickleball court.
