If you’re looking for a broker I would highly recommend Paul Neavyn. I used him to sell my house in Shrewsbury and to buy my new place in Danvers. He helped me with the entire process from hiring a real estate lawyer and a mortgage company. Made the process seamless and closed in 3 weeks with no hiccups. He is easy to deal with and was always available when I needed him.

We were so impressed with his experience, knowledge and personality that we used him for the recent purchase of our home in Stow, MA. His 20 year contractor experience proved invaluable at every stage of the purchase. He went above and beyond the call of duty, even though on a family vacation in the UK. My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to sell our antique Southboro home through Paul Neavyn of Southborough. Paul is an integral member of the sales team at Mathieu Newton Sotheby's International Realty. The agency came highly recommended from multiple friends who have recently moved out of the Southborough area. Paul did not disappoint us in any way, selling our home quickly and conveniently, which is no mean feat for a 300+ year old house.
His responses to inquiries from us and from the buyers were always prompt. He works well with Southborough's municipal boards to complete large jobs and small renovations quickly and correctly.

I don’t usually write Google reviews but I feel compelled to let people know about the incredible experience we had with Paul Neavyn of Sotheby's in Westborough,MA. We had to move my elderly parents out of their home in Grafton, MA on short notice and wanted to sell it quickly so we could fund their care.

As soon as my wife and I met Paul, we knew he should be our realtor. Paul is genuinely personable, dependable, approachable and so easy to work with. He is unique in that he is also a licensed general contractor with decades of experience.

Paul rolled up his sleeves the first hour we met and began helping immediately. He leveraged his knowledge to provide the guidance we needed, made a plan so we weren’t overwhelmed, and took steps to get my parents’ home ready for sale quickly. He went above and beyond working through minor fixes and enhancements, did daily checks on the property, handled all contractors, inspections and meetings independently.

With Paul, you not only team up with a realty sales leader that can execute, but you also get a fantastic team. Paul brought in his own designers, stagers, painters, cleaning crew, and photographers that were all stellar. It made my parents’ home shine in the way we knew it to be! Paul is a fierce negotiator, I’m happy to say that the sale was successful and seamless. We are grateful to have met him!

Paul is extremely hardworking and dedicated. He was very receptive to our needs in our home search and did an excellent job identifying properties that would be valuable for us to see. He was great at keeping in touch about scheduling and took care of things in a timely manner. He is professional and well-respected in his community. My wife and I had been talking about buying our first house for quite some time, but we never got around to it, because the whole process seemed so daunting. Then, we heard about Paul from one of my coworkers, and after that very first phone call, our fears were put to rest. He explained the entire process to us from beginning to end in a comprehensive, yet never condescending, manner. He asked us thoughtful questions to figure out what we were looking for and what was important to us. When we didn’t know how to answer a particular question, he would kindly and patiently explain why this was important, and help us to figure out what it was that we wanted. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Throughout the whole process, we knew he had our best interests in mind.

Once we started looking at houses, we came to see how his expertise as a licensed contractor was an invaluable asset — while touring houses, he would point out subtle “red flag“ issues that were not readily apparent to us, but that he recognized from his experience in construction. With his knowledge and expertise, we felt comfortable making offers, knowing that there would be no hidden surprises.

Paul helped us find our beautiful home in the middle of a pandemic and an unprecedented real estate market. We felt comfortable offering what we did on this house because of his assessment that the house was immaculately maintained. This fact was born out by the home inspection, during which the home inspector told me, “you’ll find that I put a couple nitpicky things in your report, but that’s because there’s pretty much nothing wrong with this house.”

Whether you are looking to buy or sell, searching for your first home or your tenth home, my wife and I 100% recommend going with Paul. He is an exceptional realtor, and you will not regret having him on your side.

I am not a person to write reviews but felt people need to know about how awesome our realtor, Paul Neavyn was! My husband and I were first time home buyers in a crazy market. Paul worked with us from the beginning and went every piece of the process in a way that made us feel informed but never alone. Communication with him was always clear and prompt. We never felt pressured and always felt that Paul was truly on our side. As a contractor, Paul had a special eye in helping us identify potential strengths and weaknesses of different homes and also offered recommendations for potential fixes and updates.
