Paul Nestork

Though I am newer to Real Estate, with over 40 years working in the construction industry, I know houses!

Back in the mid-60's, my parents purchased a building lot on one of the many lakes in Fulton County. As a very young child I watched my father build our camp, a project that took over 10 years. It was during that time I developed aspirations of one day being an architect. My high school summer breaks were spent working as a carpenter's helper learning the basics. I continued this trend while attending college still hoping to one day become an architect, working at local lumberyards and construction. As a sophomore attending the University of Vermont I spent a semester as a project manager intern. At the end of the semester they offered me a job as an estimator and three months later I was promoted to the manager of the remodeling division. A year later they made me the chief estimator. After serving in that position for two years, I worked as a freelance estimator for a number of light commercial contractors and then served as the Facilities Planner for the local hospital. Missing the residential side of construction, I started my own construction company in 1991 based in Burlington, VT. In 2002 I decided to relocate myself and my firm to Fulton County, the area of my youth that I learned to appreciate even more as I grew older.

Over the years in construction one of the things that I have enjoyed most is making homeowners' dreams come true, whether a kitchen or bath, an addition or new construction, it has always brought me joy when my clients are happy. I am hoping to continue that experience in real estate sales, making dreams come true.

I have also been active in a variety of organizations over the years, serving as president of the Alumni Board of my UVM Fraternity, on the Greek Advisory Board of UVM, coaching Little League baseball in Burlington and as an officer and board member.
