Peggy Young

Originally from Venezuela, South America, I have a diverse background and experience including marketing, public relations and journalism and she is fluent in Spanish. I have lived in extremely hot climates as well as in the cold arctic of Alaska. I understand the complexities involved in living and working in different cultures and communities. I have been a top producer in the real estate industry since 1996, enthusiasm and unique marketing make a winning combination.

I attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana and hold a Bachelor of Arts from Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage, Alaska. I am a graduate from both the Alaska Real Estate School and the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business. I am also a graduate of the Scottsdale Leadership Academy sponsored by the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors as well as a member of Class XXIX of Tempe Leadership sponsored by the Tempe Chamber of Commerce. I currentl holds a real estate license in Arizona and am employed by REMAX Fine Properties.

My professional background stretches from teaching English as a second language early in my career to public relations and then to a successful career in real estate. My experience in Anchorage, Alaska included working at Dynamic Properties for eight years where I was a consistent Top Producer. Additionally, I worked as a Realtor at Fortune Properties for over four years and was awarded “Rookie of the Year” in 1996 and I have been a top producer in real estate sales since. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Arizona Association of Realtors, the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors and the Arizona Regional Multiple Service.

Active community service and involvement are important to me and I have volunteered my time with many charitable organizations. Past charitable organizations include: United Way of Anchorage, Downtown Anchorage Association, Downtown Community Council, Public Relations Society of America Alaska, Hispanic Organized Leaders of Alaska, YWCA, Anchorage East Rotary, Catholic Social Services Immigration Advisory Board, and the Mayor’s Task Force on Emergency Shelter and the Homeless. I was an Advisory Member to the Anchorage Daily News. During my tenure as a volunteer for the Anchorage Hispanic Community, I organized and successfully led the pubic relations campaign to ensure accessibility to the Spanish network and received a First Place Aurora Award in Crisis Communication and an Award of Excellence in Advocacy Writing from the local Public Relations Society of America Alaska.

I have been on all sides of real estate transactions and I understand the many phases of the sales process, including the importance of relationships, effective marketing and the ability to effectively negotiate. I offer a high level of service, attention and responsiveness to every client and strive to continually provide excellent customer service with ethics, expertise, trust and professionalism.

After living in Alaska for 25 years, I relocated to the Phoenix metro area in 2008. I service all cities within the Phoenix metro area, including but not limited to Scottsdale, Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Glendale and more. I have over 24+ years experience working with buyers and sellers in all price ranges. I also have a lot of experience working with winter "snow bird" residents helping them find and/or sell perfect "lock and leave" homes.
