With over fifty-five years as a broker—and twenty years at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty—Pete Ryan brings a depth of knowledge and industry experience to each client he serves. Pete’s keen understanding of market trends, business standards, and Dallas neighborhoods smooths the intricate process of buying and selling a home—and his warmth, humor, and friendship ensure clients return to work with him repeatedly.

Pete pairs thoughtfulness and kindness with a tenacity to get the job done. It is for this unique blend of qualities that Pete has been honored throughout his career. He was the winner of the first-ever Ellen Terry Mentorship Award which is for agents who generously share their wisdom and experience with others, and in partnership with his wife, Susie, was twice named Briggs Freeman’s Top Producer in Sales.

Prior to real estate, Pete built and remodeled homes for forty-five years. The skill of assessing and understanding a property is in his very DNA. Pete can tell when a home is well-constructed and whether it is in good condition—invaluable insight for his clients.

On his leisure days, Pete will be on the golf course or spending time with his family. Pete values investing in his community by serving as the co-chair of St. Michael’s and All Angels ‘Heart of Giving’ campaign and Honduras mission volunteer. He has also tutored young students at O. M. Roberts School in South Dallas.

Having lived in Dallas his whole life, Pete has been amazed by the transformation the city has undergone. From the Bishop Arts District to the Knox Henderson area to Klyde Warren Park, Dallas continues to grow and diversify. Pete is energized by the city’s ever-changing landscape and eager to help clients find the perfect homes for every season of their lives.
