Phil Smith was born and raised in the Boston area and currently resides in Melrose with his wife Marianne and their two wonderful children Zoe and Sadie. Phil holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a master’s degree from Northeastern University.
Armed with work experience in both the human service field and professional recruiting, Phil obtained his real estate license in 2002 and soon thereafter earned his broker's license. He has worked extensively with buyers, sellers, and investors of condominiums, single families, and multi-families in and around the Boston area. Phil worked for Prudential Unlimited Realty from 2003 until October 2014 at which time the company reaffiliated and became Unlimited Sotheby's International Realty. He has been the recipient of numerous awards and designations, owns several investment properties, and is the keynote speaker at Unlimited Sotheby's monthly First Time Home Buyer Seminar.
Phil's philosophy is simple: Treat sellers and buyers the way you would want to be treated. People involved in real estate transactions are typically making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives, and it is imperative to have an experienced and knowledgeable professional to help guide them through the process and get to the closing table. The real estate business is all about relationships, and Phil has been able to predicate his business on referrals because he understands this and has consistently done right by those who have put their trust in him.
