If you're considering a RE agent, look no further than Phillip Saenkov. Phillip is a pro in the truest form. His professionalism and attention to detail were always at the forefront of all our transactions. In the last year, we have purchased 1 home in Idaho, sold one home in Fullerton, sold a complex business all while dealing with the death of a family member. Needless to say, by far one of the smoothest transactions was selling our La Jolla rental property in a 1031 exchange transaction with Phillip. He handled all the details, while listening closely to our wants and desires. Because the property was a rental, he also handled all the showings directly with the tenant, which was a huge load off our minds. His expertise about the market steered us in an ideal situation for a profitable sale with three offers when inventory suddenly got below county lows.
Phillip's demeanor and professionalism were always respectful, conscientious of our time limits and willing to shift gears for us when needed. This is the ultimate sign of an "others oriented" and putting the customer first mentality. We recently sold our Condo in Fashion Valley thanks to Phillip everything the process was so much easier then we could have expected. A lot of the worries we had about selling our home were all addressed and the experience that Phillip had really made us feel comfortable knowing that we would be taken care of throughout the process. His open house got us a solid offer on the first open house that Phillip hosted on our behalf. If you are looking for a honest and genuine agent that knows how to sell your home or help you purchase a new home Phillip is a great agent to choose. He is the most professional agent I have met and has connections in the area that will save you a lot of angst of finding HVAC repair, or Handymen.

nt. The first time we began the house hunting journey started 3 years ago. We searched for a few months. Phil was always very patient and willing to show us properties and to make time out of his busy schedule and being there even at open houses to help us ask the right questions. He is VERY consistent, on time, patient, and ALWAYs has our best interest at heart making sure to point out the things that he didn’t feel right for us and didn’t try to sell us something that didn’t fit. He is very honest and reliable and we love that he is such a trusting realtor. The first time after searching for a few months, we decided to not buy, this second time around, we began the house hunt journey again, Phil never rushed us and was always patiently giving us lots of options to choose from and REALLy listening to things we wanted and didn’t want. He showed the same consistency, honesty, patience in helping us. He helped us negotiate price and was always keeping our pocketbooks in mind as we discussed the different technical pieces of the house buying process. Phillip has helped our family with multiple real estate transactions over the past couple years and they have all been executed with the utmost professionalism. Phillip is not only responsive whenever you need him, but he goes beyond the service of your typical agent. He assisted me through the entire aspect, saving me plenty of headache, even when I was no longer even in the area, he ensured my property was handled and kept me updated. Selling my most recent property, their were some minor hiccups, however, Phillip was prepared and flexible, always with my wants as his priorities. In the end everything went over smoothly, and I am more than satisfied with his help. He is an amazing communicator, knowledgeable agent, and a good person.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Phillip.

Having worked with prior realtors who were more concerned with their commission than my well being, I was prepared to begin the struggle to self-advocate when I decided to sell my home and buy another. There was no need.

Phillip is a professional Real Estate Broker. He has the additional education that entitles him to be called a Broker and it shows. California Real Estate Brokers and Agents have a fiduciary responsibility and he takes it seriously. He helped me get my house in top shape for the sale from the bones to the beauty. His contractor referrals were all professional from the plumber to the termite repairs to the stager. Every single one of his referrals showed up when they said they would, on time and on budget. I received a great price for the sale of my house and, after meeting me everywhere from Fallbrook to Jamul to view houses, he found me my dream home in the neighborhood I was really hoping to live in. His actions have shown me that my best interests are his priority.

I have to admit I did get a little snippy. I took a week off work and should have taken two instead of trying to telework during repairs. He responded to my apology like a professional and he was also genuinely gracious like the good, kind, decent human that he is. When I was not sure what to do, he provided calm rational information and guidance. He really listened to what I wanted in my home, my must haves and wish list, and my priorities regarding my pets. Did I mention the hardbound book with estimates and comps on the house I sold or the personal handwritten notes? I have already referred him to close friends because I know I can count on him to do the right thing.

I would absolutely recommend Phillip as a realtor to anyone looking for their next home in San Diego. From our first meeting with Phil, it was clear he was organized, qualified, professional, and thorough. As first time home buyers, he was patient and did a great job of explaining the process and what to expect to us. We gave Phillip an idea of what we thought we were looking for and he led us to options within those constructs and opened up our minds to more. He was flexible with the times he showed with us and took great notes while we viewed based on feedback and answered our 100+ questions along the way.
After seeing about 25 locations and with no sign of despair and lots of encouragement and understanding on Phil's end, he found our dream home in a location that was off our radar because we didn't think we could afford anything in that location. It was a great fit and he was quick to act when we were ready to close the deal. He represented us well to get a great deal and walked us through the escrow process thoroughly. We felt we could trust him and our best interest was at the forefront. He also went above and beyond to do some final touches on the house that would make our move in easier, safer, and nicer.

Phillip is an outstanding agent. As a first time home buyer, he walked me through all steps of the process with patience and professionalism. Since we were not able to buy initially, he first helped us locate a fantastic rental in a great neighborhood where we would later buy. He listened carefully to our needs and identified properties that met them. He is trustworthy and attentive. He was in constant communication with me throughout the process, including when we had doubts or questions, some of which may have seemed trivial. He provided invaluable advice as well about important considerations regarding areas in which to buy, when to to buy, remodeling costs and negotiation strategies. My brother and I were looking to buy a single family home in Clairemont as our first rental property. My brother did not reside in the San Diego Area and only met Phillip once during the initial process of picking out a home. Philip was well aware that once he flew into SD we were not going to have a lot of time. He spent half a day driving around to 7 different houses and printed all of the information on these homes for us. He was always well prepared and courteous to our time. I never felt that I was waiting on him; he was always prompt and ready to go.

He always kept our best interest in mind and was so helpful in finding a house within our price range. He has a lot of knowledge of the area and within this industry. He had a person or a company recommended for every step of the way: home inspector, plumber, electrician; anyone you need Phillip knows a great person that will get the job done for you.

Phillip was with us from start to finish. We found a house together and we closed the deal and even after all this, he is still calling and checking up on us and the house. He is truly invested and cares about the people he works with. I never felt that he was just pushing us to buy, just so that he could make a profit. Even now that we’ve purchased the house, I’m still calling Phillip for anything I need pertaining to the home and he is still as responsive and quick to communicate as he was when we met him.
