About Phyllis
Phyllis is an experienced sales agent who gives her clients time and attention, while treating them with integrity and professionalism.
She moved to Rhode Island from her native California in 2004 after developing a fondness for New England. Her appreciation for historic homes and the beautiful waterfront properties in the Ocean State has grown, and she now owns a historic 100-year-old home overlooking the water.
Phyllis studied design and music at Moorpark College, before working for 20 years as a PC designer, applications engineer and in management at a high-technology company. Self-taught and experienced in the building trades, Phyllis designed and built her own passive solar home, and gained valuable first-hand knowledge that she now brings to her clients. She has an intuitive and educated perspective to see a home not only for what it is, but for what it can become.
Phyllis is the former Commodore of the Tiverton Yacht Club, managing its sailing and swimming programs, daily facility operation and social events. She donates and volunteers her time to charitable endeavors, participating in local non-profits, and various charitable organizations, as a mentor for Star Kids and a supporter of Land Trusts and Historical Societies. She currently serves on the Harbor Commission in Tiverton and is also a member of the Brown Club of Rhode Island.
As a fulltime sales agent serving Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts, Phyllis has worked in Newport, Bristol, and Westport, Massachusetts. She collaborates closely with her clients in every phase of a real estate transaction to ensure that the buying and selling experience is easy and pleasant. Her caring nature, combined with strategic analysis of the market, expert negotiating skills, quick response times and use of state-of-the-art technology provides her clients with an edge in achieving their real estate goals and dreams. Phyllis is determined to find the real estate property that fits her clients’ lifestyles.
When she is not selling real estate, Phyllis enjoys sailing, skiing, hosting events at the yacht club, kayaking, hiking, camping, photography, painting, playing guitar and participating in her local book club. Phyllis often ventures to various parts of New England where she studies its history and landscape, while keeping an eye out for the next real estate opportunity.
