About Rachael Hand
Real estate is more than a transaction—it’s one of the most significant financial and personal decisions people make. Since becoming a licensed Realtor® in 2004, I’ve been dedicated to helping buyers, sellers, and investors navigate those decisions with confidence.
My career began in global relocation, where I assisted individuals and families moving across cities, states, and countries. That experience taught me that every move has a story behind it, and every client deserves personalized guidance, clear communication, and a trusted advocate in their corner.
Today, I serve clients throughout the East Bay and Diablo Valley, including Danville, Alamo, Diablo, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, and surrounding communities. Whether you’re purchasing your first home, selling a longtime family property, relocating, downsizing, settling an estate, or building an investment portfolio, my goal is to make the process as smooth and successful as possible.
Before entering real estate, I spent a decade in marketing within the entertainment industry. That background allows me to bring strategic marketing, creative problem-solving, and strong negotiation skills to every transaction. From preparing a home for market and creating a customized marketing plan to navigating complex negotiations, I focus on maximizing value while protecting my clients’ interests.
As a Broker Associate and business owner, I bring both hands-on experience and a long-term perspective to every transaction. Over the years, I have successfully represented clients at every price point, from first-time buyers to luxury homeowners, relocations, estates, and investment properties.
Education and professional development have always been important to me. I hold a Master of Real Estate and have been recognized as a Diablo Magazine 5-Star Professional every year since 2013. In 2014, I was honored as Realtor of the Year by the Contra Costa Real Estate and Marketing Institute (CCRIM).
Beyond my work with clients, I have dedicated much of my career to leadership and advocacy within the real estate profession. I served on the Contra Costa Association of Realtors® Board of Directors from 2012 to 2020, including as President in 2019, and continue to serve in leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels. These roles keep me connected to the policies, market trends, technology, and advocacy efforts that shape real estate today, allowing me to better serve and advise my clients.
Clients often describe me as responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and deeply committed to their success. I believe my role is to be a trusted advisor and steward of my clients’ assets, helping them make informed decisions while keeping their goals at the center of every conversation.
When I’m not working with clients or serving the real estate community, you’ll often find me exploring Bay Area trails with my rescue dog, Luna, spending time with family and friends, or volunteering in causes
