About Rachel
Founder of Salt Lake Homes, real estate wasn’t always the dream for Rachel—far from it. She didn’t grow up in Utah and never lived in a home her family owned. But buying her first home in her early 20s gave her a deep appreciation for the stability and opportunity that homeownership can provide. Rachel launched her real estate career in October 2008, just as the Great Recession hit. While others were leaving the industry, she leaned in with grit, resourcefulness, and an unshakable work ethic. That bet on herself paid off: she was named Rookie of the Year in 2009 (Exit Realty) and hasn’t looked back. Since then, she’s earned honors like the SLBR Good Neighbor Award (2018), Salt Lake’s Best Realtor by City Weekly (2019), and recognition among the top 1.5% of Realtors in North America.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Economics from the University of Utah, along with an MBA from Westminster College—a rare and powerful combo that fuels her ability to build brands, negotiate fiercely, and create marketing that delivers real results. That vision is at the heart of Salt Lake Homes, the team she founded to give agents the autonomy to define success on their own terms—and the tools and support to achieve it. Today, Rachel divides her time between resale clients and new construction projects, helping builders craft standout brands, refine their sales strategies, and find success in every market. She and her husband (and teammate) also own and manage a portfolio of Airbnb rentals, giving her a unique, hands-on perspective of Utah’s evolving housing landscape. Outside of real estate, you’ll likely find Rachel with an Audible book in her ear, hanging out with her husband, or on set with Utah’s growing film industry. For a decade, she served as the director of Love Lake City, a monthly volunteer initiative she co-founded to connect the community with individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction, or mental illness. While she’s since passed the torch, she’s still actively involved—and always happy to bring others along for the work of giving back.
