Rajia Ackley

As an entrepreneur, successful business owner, international business ambassador and philanthropist, longtime Central Florida real estate professional Rajia Ackley is the founder and CEO of one of Metro Orlando’s most successful full-service real estate companies, Coldwell Banker Ackley Realty and Ackley Florida Property Management.

Her longevity in an industry having as many peaks and valleys as the Himalayas speaks volumes about her business acumen and ability to adapt to a constantly morphing marketplace and delivering the same high-level professional services her clients deserve.

Change, she says, is the one constant in luxury real estate. Marketing has shifted from a local to a global focus. More affluent consumers are relying on technology and social media to make their purchase decisions. As a global leader in luxury homes, Rajia, as a Coldwell Banker Previews International Specialist, closely monitors these changes and what she sees is a “future that is open for expansion.”

Yes, it’s hard work, but Rajia is used to hard work.

She built her two companies (Coldwell Banker Ackley Realty and Ackley Florida Property Management) and professional reputation from the ground up, doing so as a single mother raising two children, Nathan and Kristen. She currently has close to 100 agents and staff.

Over the years she has established herself as a global market leader and expert at the highest levels and at every part of the industry spectrum both nationally and internationally– from Previews luxury real estate, new home sales, commercial real estate, and property management/investments. She is also a real estate investor and developer, currently working on an assisted living project of up to 450 units.

Rajia is highly regarded for her philanthropy with the Rajia Ackley Family Foundation and her involvement in the Boys and Girls Clubs and Heavenly Hooves – home of the McCormick Research Institute.

She takes great satisfaction in her accomplishments but admits there’s more to be done as the company builds its legacy, including expanding her niche as a luxury home specialist. Joining her in that effort is daughter Kristen, a soon-to-be University of Florida graduate majoring in International Business.
