Ramon Alvarez

Ramon Gabriel Alvarez, a native of Central Texas. Graduated C.E. Ellison High School in 1997. Attended Central Texas College for General Studies before acquiring an EMT-B certification. Went on to attend the TEEX Firefighter Academy in College Station in 2003.

In 2009, Ramon accepted a position with the City of Killeen as a Code Inspector. In 2012, became the City of Killeen's first Environmental Specialist and Officer. Ramon has held numerous other certifications such as a Certified Construction Inspector, Certified Floodplain Manager and Certified Erosion Inspector. Ramon is also a graduate of the Citizen's Police Academy, Leadership Killeen and Leadership Central Texas programs. In 2016, Ramon earned his Realtor license and joined the Team at Cloud Real Estate. In 2018, Ramon achieved Top Sales Volume with Cloud Real Estate along with their Silver Lining Award. And again in 2019, he achieved Top Sales Volume.

As a lifelong Killeenite Ramon enjoys serving his community through various non-profits and efforts. Previously, as one of the founding members of the Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce Central Texas, he served on its Board of Directors from 2010 to 2013. Also, from 2011 to 2015 he served as a Board Member and Vice President for the Greater Killeen Young Professionals, Fort Hood Area Habitat for Humanity and on the Killeen Community Development Advisory Committee. Currently Ramon serves as a Commissioner on the City of Killeen Planning and Zoning Commission, FHAAR Community Affairs Committee and continues to serve on the Community Service Committee for the Greater Killeen Young Professionals.

In 2008, Ramon married Alyssa Nelson, local small business owner of A&K Dance and Acro and they welcomed their daughter, Kensley, in 2010.
