I spent years working my way up — reserves with KCSO, running my own business, eventually becoming a branch manager earning a real living for my family. Then one day, without warning, the company closed its doors. Seventy thousand dollars a year became zero overnight. I didn't have a plan. What I had was a mailbox, a moment of uncertainty, and what I can only describe as a direct answer to a question I hadn't even finished asking. A friend's Christmas card arrived with his real estate business card tucked inside. The very next envelope — no name, no return address — held $600 in cash. Exactly enough to cover my licensing course and exam fee. Not a dollar more, not a dollar less. I walked inside and told my wife what just happened. She said: "God answered. You're supposed to go into real estate." I've learned not to argue with that. So here I am. I also spent 14 years as a professional wrestler — televised type .
