About Raymond

I came to Pittsburgh from New York in August of 1996 to work at the Pittsburgh Opera. My first apartment was at the old train station known as "The Pennsylvanian". Coming from New York, I soon realized that I could pay a lot less to live in Pittsburgh and began to search for a new apartment. I found a great place in Squirrel Hill for a third of what I paid in New York. I simply fell in love with Pittsburgh and decided to make it my home. I found a great house in Penn Hills where I have lived for over a decade. I am a classically trained singer with a Masters in Opera. My performances have taken me to many places in Pittsburgh and around the world. Pittsburgh is a huge sports town, but there are many famous musicians with which I have had the pleasure to perform. As I break into the world of real estate, I am constantly running into people that are music fans, and we talk about Pittsburgh Opera, Opera Theater of Pittsburgh and various musical organizations that I have sung with here and it makes the world smaller.
