Rebecca grew up in Pennsylvania, and after graduating magna cum laude with a BFA from Syracuse University, she began a career in fashion design in New York City. She has worked for top companies such as Tommy Hilfiger and Gap, Inc. and launched an eponymous line of high-end women’s handbags in 2005. Her handbags received coverage in numerous fashion publications including Lucky, Cosmo Girl and Daily Candy. In addition to celebrity sightings, they were also seen on NBC’s hit series, ‘Heroes’ and on Katherine Heigl in the blockbuster movie ‘Life as We Know It’. Her extensive design background in fashion easily translated into a passion for residential design upon purchasing and renovating her first bungalow on the Peninsula in 2002 -- obtaining her Real Estate License was a natural next step. Rebecca has completed extensive renovations on multiple homes in the Bay Area and is more than happy to share her knowledge and experience with her clients. Whether in preparation to sell, or after close of escrow, Rebecca is always readily available with design advice and resources.
After nearly 10 years in the Upper Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland, Rebecca now resides with her husband and two children a short distance away in the Upper Happy Valley neighborhood of Lafayette. Her business and clientele successfully span across Piedmont, Oakland and Berkley, as well as Lafayette, Orinda and Moraga. Rebecca loves traveling and spending time with friends and family. They are often out on the town, dining at one of their favorite restaurants in the East Bay – Postino, American Kitchen, Acote, A16, Zachary’s, Chez Panisse…to name a few! As avid boaters, and active members of the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco, Rebecca and her family are also out on the water any chance they get.
