Renato Zapata

As president of Renato Zapata & Co, an international freight forwarding and custom brokerage firm founded by his grandfather over 80 years ago, and as an active customs broker with over 30 years of experience in the import/export business, warehousing, distribution, transportation, and logistics, Renato is uniquely skilled in sales, service and negotiation. He prides himself on being detail-oriented, caring and professional and looks forward to helping clients with their residential or commercial buying and selling needs

Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, Renato earned his Bachelors of Science degree from St. Mary’s University. He’s an active member of the Laredo community and has been involved with charitable fundraising efforts for both the International Good Labor Council and the Laredo Noon Lion’s club. Renato is bilingual in English and Spanish.
