About Retta

A Trinity County native, Retta Treanor was born & raised in Hayfork, CA. Alongside her parents and five siblings, she grew up in the mountains, off the grid. Performing and singing in the family band; her humble beginnings etched into who she is today.

From an early age, it was clear that she had qualities and a belief system that would take her to a place of success and in a position to help others. Determination and compassion are some of those qualities that have guided her to today, where she now celebrates the 20th anniversary of Big Valley Properties; 20 years of supporting the communities she loves; 16 years as the Top Selling Brokerage; over 800 transactions closed, and now a total of 23 years of making people’s dreams become reality through the buying and selling process.

In addition to her extensive experience, Retta holds the highest credential awarded to Residential sales agents, managers, and brokers; a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation.

When she isn’t in the office providing support and guidance to her team or out in the trenches with clients; Retta enjoys spending time with her husband of 30 years, Troy Treanor; family dinners and game nights, gardening, cooking and paddleboarding on the Trinity and Lewiston Lakes.
