While in this tough market for a home, my significant other referred me to Mr. Richard Degory (Samson Properties) and I can’t thank her enough for doing so. I have been through several real estate transactions in the past and Rich, by far, made this my easiest and smoothest.

Rich deserves more than 5 stars! Rich went above and beyond to assist with the sell of my home. He explained the home selling process in detail, expectations for what we would get in this market, and fixes we should make to the home. From my first contact to closing, Rich stayed in front of any hurdles and possible problems before they became major issues. I'm a first-time home buyer and was not that knowledgeable about the process, but Rich quickly put my mind to ease and provided guidance throughout the entire process. His knowledge of the home buying process and the local market was extremely helpful, as was his many years of experience, and he even provided me recommendations on what he would do if he were buying a house. He took the time to answer my many emails about questions that I had, and when I finally saw a house that I was interested in, I provided him the address and he quickly provided me additional information about the house and/or set up a tour. Rich took excellent care of our house sale from start to finish, including hooking us up with our rental property. He gave us a thorough, and as it turns out, accurate run down of the process, what to expect when and what comes next. He went out of his way to reassure us and make sure we were aware of what was going on. He didn't just get us our asking price, but quite a bit more and all on the first day of the sale. I think picking a realtor was very difficult. I honestly didn't know who I could trust and wanted someone who cared about my situation and my best outcome. I did alot of research and found Rich, he had many accolades and his military service sealed the deal. We decided to give him a shot. I t was the best decision we ever made. There aren’t enough positive things to say about Rich and his services. There were many factors working against us when selling our home, e.g listed in late fall, price point at the top of the neighborhood, and unique features. Rich’s expertise and aggressive marketing, however, resulted in us receiving over 97% of our asking price, including the closing cost incentives we paid for the buyers. Rich literally pushed the envelope on sales price and then used hundreds of websites and print media to market our home. We saw immediate and sustained interest and an offer within a few days. However, Rich didn’t think the offer was good enough. We followed his advice and weathered through the holidays. Soon after, interest increased again and a second, credible offer came in. Rich, again, used his expertise to prepare a counteroffer that was accepted. Although the issues with selling through the winter were many, the real challenge came when we went to closing amid the Clovid-19 pandemic. When our buyers’ agent wanted to delay closing, Rich persevered, and we closed right on time despite the many hurdles the final week. We highly recommend Rich as a real estate professional with demonstrated talent for marketing, negotiating, and attention to details.
