Rick and his wife live in Johnston, a suburb just to the north of Des Moines. They have two sons living in Colorado and working in new home construction. Two yellow labs, "Charlie" & " Annie," round out the family. Home is a contemporary walk-out ranch he had custom built in Green Meadows North. He has been a licensed Realtor in Des Moines since 1985 and a broker since 1990. He helped customers buy and sell their homes until 1992. As his real estate business grew, he found he was missing out on his son growing up, so he took 18 years off from actively selling but always stayed with real estate. The time was spent in the banking business providing construction & development loans for builders, developers, and customers who just wanted to build their new homes. Starting with Iowa Realty in 2008 was the best decision he has made! He thoroughly enjoys helping his clients with their Real Estate needs! His passion for the last 32 years has been Real Estate! He has vast experience in the Des Moines construction industry and is very involved with the resale market. Selling your home & building a new home does not have to be a scary experience.
