Rick Cox

Rick got started in the real estate business working for his father at Van Cox Real Estate Co. This was 1965 and he worked while attending college at Wichita State University. After moving to the Oregon Coast in the early 70’s he went to work at Coast Real Estate in 1977. These years of experience have taught him the skills and patience necessary to be effective in these challenging times. He has an easy style and is client focused. He serves on the Governing Board at Peace Health Hospital and is on the Board of the Western Lane Community Foundation.

In his off time, Rick and local physician Clare Brien enjoy cycling. They have a variety of bikes including tandems, recumbents, mountain, and road bikes. They live among the trees on some acreage in a small and constantly “being remodeled” cabin and keep busy with a variety of construction projects.
