Even though I was born in Connecticut, I spent the vast majority of my childhood moving around the South with my dad’s job. I believe this taught me to interact easily with people. When I married in 1979, my wife, Debi, and I settled in Clayton, NC. We eventually had two kids, Riley II and Alysa and we lived there until 2012. While I was living there, I got North Carolina License in Heating and Air and Plumbing. I owned and operated my own HVAC company for 27 years. Also during that time, I got my contractor’s license and became a general contractor. I built over 300 homes in the Clayton area. I also own and manage my own rental property. In 2012, we relocated to Carteret County. I still build but decided to expand my knowledge to include selling real estate. I believe my background in HVAC, plumbing, and construction will help me to help you find the perfect home. I don’t have a lot of leisure time but when I do, you can find me by the water fishing or at my farm hunting.
