I cannot thank Riley and the Gerdes team enough for their unwavering support during a difficult moving time for my family. We started this journey 3 years ago, trying to convince my grandma to move and sell her condo so she could be near family as her health declined. Riley waited patiently and checked in every now and again until we finally got the green light and stamp of approval from my grandma that she was ready to move. Riley jumped in immediately and took our stress on for us so we could focus on getting grandma moved and settled. He helped us with getting the condo ready to be sold, helped us figure out what to do with the furniture and items my grandma couldn’t take with her and sold the condo all within a few short weeks! Every day Riley showed up for us with positivity and kept us moving forward when we felt in over our heads. During this covid/sellers market, Riley produced some magic, and we were able to buy/negotiate our home under the selling price as well to get the seller to accept a VA loan with inspections. Riley has been fantastic since day 1 of looking for a house! The market is crazy and we thought it would be difficult to navigate as 1st time home buyers but with his knowledge and confidence it has worked out exactly as it was supposed to! After a year of searching, our offer was accepted on the perfect home for us in Mt. Airy and we're currently working through all things mortgage and inspection. Riley is really on top of it all! Once our offer was accepted he clearly communicated to us what would happen each step of the way and answered all questions as they have come up. Inspection was schedule same day as acceptance and mortgage process was already underway as he utilized all his amazing business connections. We're so excited for our home and so thankful to have had Riley by our side!

If there were more than 5 stars I would give them to Riley. This was my second time working with Riley- he was my agent on the purchase of my first home and could not have done better. When thinking of whom I could trust on the sale of my home only one name came to mind- Riley White. To say I am happy with Riley's work would be an understatement.

I can say with great awareness that I was not the easiest client, as this was the first sale of a home I have been through. Riley understood that and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. He explained everything in detail, answered every question I had (often multiple time), and truly knocked the sale of my house out of the park.

After a whirlwind experience of buying a house, I can attest that Riley White is a remarkable realtor. My partner and I have worked with other excellent relators before when we were looking for a house in another state, so we are quite familiar with the house buying process. Riley, however, really was outstanding. We wanted a historic house, and we needed a place within driving distance of base, so we had some fairly restrictive requirements for potential homes. We were only in contact with Riley and his team for less then a week when we found our dream home: an 1865 house with small acreage. We were not expecting to find a house so soon, and we were not yet pre-approved. The seller's offer window was already closed, but Riley was able to get them to wait for our offer. Within 24 hours, Riley had us pre-approved and our offer in place; by the next day, the seller accepted our offer. Once the offer was secured, Riley connected us with inspectors as well as the best contractors who know how to work on historic homes. With these connections, we were able to identify the structural problems and their associated costs and negotiate from there. Up through closing, Riley walked us through every step, and there were many given the nature of the home. Moreover, Riley is exceptional at communication. My fiancé is currently in another state, so she had to attend all of the meetings virtually. Riley was able to balance in-person and virtual communication well for both of us, and he was happy to reiterate any information through video and email. If you want a realtor who is unafraid of short deadlines and complicated, historic homes, Riley really is the best out there. He is fast, dedicated, and personable. He is also very sensitive to the emotional aspects associated with home buying and selling. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor, and we would recommend Riley to anyone.

First time home-buyer, Riley was fantastic. While being told it’s tough to be a buyer in this market, Riley made it seem easy. Not only were we able to grab a great deal on this house, I was able to come to closing with minimal cash due to some awesome negotiations and ideas I’ve not heard of until Riley brought them up.

When in a pinch, he was also able to provide me with a great Lender, whom I would recommend as well!

Additionally, Riley, being a busy man, was able to shoot answers to questions I had at any time, Monday or Sunday.

Will definitely be recommending Riley to anyone I hear in the area looking to purchase!

HUGE shout out to Riley White with The Gerdes Team of Long & Foster Real Estate Not only he was able to sell our condo in Annapolis in one (!!!) day with multiple offers that we had to choose from for the record price that exceeded our expectations, but also helped us get our ultimate dream house, that checks every single thing we were looking for in a home. From the moment I was asked if I could be referred to Riley and his team there was no doubt they had the drive to take care of business! We were planning on this transition in our lives for a while but had not yet picked an agent to facilitate it. From the first conversation just about setting an appointment to look at our home to sell it was pretty clear this was gonna be a smooth ride. We looked at every angle from making sure we listed strategically to maximize our offers and the range to making sure our transition to the next property was accommodated also. The photographer and marketing team did a fantastic job of highlighting the feel of living in our space, so much so that on the first day we had offers and even sight unseen counter offers which Riley fielded and negotiated for us to get the best sale we could think of. In todays fast moving world we live in I knew from the start communication was important so we had a group chat with my wife and riley to keep us all updated throughout that way regardless of who was in a remote working situation or not we could keep minute by minute updates going. Riley helped my boyfriend and I purchase our first home. He set us up with a wonderful mortgage broker. He’s extremely personable, attentive, and just a wonderful person. He showed us many homes until we found the one we loved. He successfully got us into our home in a time crunch and made sure we were moved in on our specified date. Throughout the process Riley was highly responsive. Whenever I asked Riley for anything his answer was “okay, I will get it for you”. His generous attitude and confident spirit made my wife and I feel all the more confident and excited during the home buying process. On a different level, he felt more like a friend than just someone trying to get a paycheck. I think the reason is because he enjoys his job and he enjoys serving people. On multiple occasions he was very persistent when acting on our behalf. If we wanted something he would make sure we got it. In one instance, we just wanted to know what type of hardwood floors the seller had installed so we could continue the design. Such a small detail with probably little importance in the grand scheme... but Riley called them what seemed like every day for two weeks trying to get the answer at my request. That was dedication. That is what you can expect with Riley.
