Growing up in Chicago, Rita attended Mother McAuley High School and worked for various City agencies including the Board of Education, Chicago Fire and Police Departments. This experience has provided me with extensive knowledge of the City's unique neighborhoods.
In 1989, Rita moved with her husband and daughters to the Western Suburbs, primarily to send them to Benet Academy in Lisle, her husband's Alma Mater.
