From our first meeting until the day we closed, Rita has been by our side. She provided advice, encouragement and her expertise throughout the process. Her thoughts on pricing our home were “spot-on”. It was appropriately priced to bring a large amount of prospective buyers into the home and created a ton of interest that we could never have achieved trying to sell on our own. Which in the end, ultimately produced offers well above our hopes. Rita’s human touches were so appreciated: she brought over markers & poster board for our moving sale, sandwiches while we packed, and bags to throw last minute items in on move day. So happy we chose Rita!

Rita Van Buren just completed an extremely problematic and difficult real estate deal for me. Every day more and more issues would surface…issues that would hold up the sale or even render it over…“a dead deal.” These were situations that required a tremendous amount of research and hours of phone work on Rita’s part. She found answers that truly nobody else could seem to find. Rita has been in this business for many years and has excelled brilliantly!. Her knowledge of this extensive industry is vast and impressive. Rita deals with a tremendous amount of people every day, but when she speaks to you, she lets you know that it’s all about giving you what you need to get you to that closing table. If the task at hand needs her to put in a 14 hour day…that’s what she’ll do. She will never let you feel that you are any less important than anybody else she’s dealing with! She is intelligent, diplomatic, patient, very pleasant and overall… Damn good at her job! Rita is a closer!

Rita was simply excellent. We moved from our first to our second home. She represented us in both the sale of our home and purchase of our second home. We were prepared for a stressful and complicated process and significant risk. However, Rita made both transactions seamless, and managed the entire process and all of the people involved flawlessly. Whenever we had a question or needed something from anyone involved, we could count on Rita to always answer the phone, on nights and weekends (and weekend nights), and deliver 100% on everything that was promised. I'm honestly shocked at how well everything worked out, and credit Rita with the excellent result.

I'm not one who usually writes reviews but after my experience with Rita I felt the need too. This was the first time I purchased a home. From the beginning Rita was there to guide me thru every process. She never made me feel as if I was bothering her every time I called. She was not only informative on everything I asked she also answered me the same day!! I never had to wait. She is a true professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. When one door closed, Rita found a way to open another door and thru her knowledge and contacts over the years she helped me get the financing I needed to close the deal. I want to thank Rita Van Buren for her tireless involvement and her ability to guide us in the correct direction regarding the sale of our home. Her advice and commitment to us, to get it right, proved invaluable.

With all the things she required to make this happen, like getting the house “picture ready”, advising me to throw out items I have had saved for years(unnecessarily) and to just answering the many, many annoying questions I threw at her.

All this, along with her help in finding us our new home, to bring in the next chapter of our lives. This has been a much need distraction in my life right now. Next week will already be one year since my Dad has passed. The amount of work involved in a move is overwhelming but it does keep you busy. I know that if my Dad was here he would have made it a lot easier with his help but he is sending me signs that he is with us and approves of this whole crazy move.

We met Rita several years ago when we were considering moving. We liked her very much, but decided not to move at that time. Last year, when we were finally ready, there was no one else we would call but Rita.There is hardly enough space here to describe how dear she became to us, both as a realtor and a friend. She is warm and friendly, hardworking, and a real people-person. We were made to feel that we were her #1 priority. She returns calls and texts almost immediately. She is a true professional and completely honest. She clearly explained her appraisal of our home’s value in the current market, and gave us frank suggestions for adjustments that would enhance its appeal. She persevered with us and turned it into a showplace! There was no favor she wouldn’t do regarding calls and questions to other realtors and prospective buyers. Arranging viewings was simple and always with our convenience in mind. Buyers were scarce during the winter, but we actually sold it to one of fewer than 10 home-seekers! It was truly astonishing. Nothing left to say except that meeting and working with Rita VanBuren was a most fortunate and delightful experience. Selling one’s home (after 46 years) is difficult and singularly traumatic. We are forever grateful to her for easing us through this life-changing transition, and, as we said earlier, consider her a new, but very dear friend.

Rita has been more than just a realtor to me. She is more like family!

My boyfriend and I were first time home buyers and Rita provided the exact kind of advice and support that we needed. There is nothing this woman doesn’t know about real estate! We were amazed by her knowledge and professionalism.

Shopping for a home can be very stressful and anxiety provoking, however, Rita made us feel like we had a close family member in the business to guide us through the entire process. She has your back!
