Rob Jones

Rob consider it a privilege to have been born and raised in Blacksburg and to now be married raising my own daughters in such a family friendly environment. Rob graduated from Blacksburg High School in 1990 and went on to Virginia Tech graduating from the Pamplin School of Business with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Residential Property Management. After living a short time in Richmond, an opportunity to start my own business brought me back to Blacksburg.

Years ago, my father, Joe Jones asked me to join him at Raines Real Estate. Because Rob had always been interested in building construction and real estate in general, that seemed like a good fit. Since that time he has consistently been a multimillion dollar producer and used my property management background to advise clients on investment properties. It is important to me to take an active part in our local Board of Realtors. He recently served as the director on the Board of Realtors while also serving on the Grievance and Education Committees.

Rob come from a long line of "Hokies". My grandfather, father and brother are all Virginia Tech grads. I take great pride in being a Hokie and being a part of such a vibrant community. His wife, Karen teaches at Blacksburg Middle School and we have two beautiful daughters, Ali and Kami.
