Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Robert began his career in sales out of college working for a regional coffee roaster in Northeast Ohio. Soon after, he transitioned to a career in Real Estate; working in both commercial and residential real estate in the Central Ohio area. In 2009, Robert relocated from Ohio to Richmond in order to be closer to family and to escape the brutal northern Ohio winters. After moving to Richmond, Robert spent 5+ years in commercial construction project management with a French luxury retailer, where he developed a passion for design and architecture. Leveraging his past experiences, Robert began his residential real estate career in VA in 2017. With a talent in home staging and design, Robert’s unique experience both at his previous employers and with his own buying, renovating, and selling of his own homes, has led him to join the Beran residential real estate team. His perspective and eye for redesign, and updating existing homes is a great benefit to both buyers and sellers in the market. Robert and his husband have enjoyed living in the Museum District, Northside, Church Hill, Bellevue and currently reside in the west end with their 2 rescue pug’s. When relaxing, they love to entertain in their midcentury rancher in the secluded Raintree development. Tending to their hidden tropical oasis among the old growth trees is the next best thing to hitting the beach at Topsail Island where their family has a getaway. It has to be mentioned that Robert is a life long suffering Brown’s fan, while his husband David, is from western PA and thus a Steelers fan which makes for entertaining Sunday afternoons in the fall. “It can be difficult sometimes for clients to think outside the box and see the true potential in a property, I enjoy being able to help clients see the potential possibilities, and hidden value a property may hold.”
