Robert Berger brings over 25 years of real estate experience with him. His background gives him keen insights into the market conditions, which he successfully employs on behalf of CBRE.

Robert is responsible for Philadelphia including all suburban markets and central Pennsylvania, covering all aspects of Multi-Housing Properties. On a national basis, Robert is considered a transactional expert with Affordable Multi-Housing Properties.

Past Real Estate experience includes being a management agent for Housing & Urban Development (HUD) and for Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA). Robert has provided emergency management contract services to PHFA, along with being contracted by HUD to provide technical training to management companies.

Robert's transactional experience starting in 1999 includes over 33 Multi Housing Properties consisting of 5,631 units valued at $263,437,974.00.


Over two thirds of Robert's transactional experience includes Multi-Housing portfolios located through-out North America, from Puerto Rico to Alaska. Robert's client list includes institutional as well as regional owners of investment real estate. Robert is considered a transactional expert of affordable Multi-Housing properties.

Prior to joining CBRE, Robert was the general partner of a regional private real estate management and holding company. Robert's managerial experience and knowledge of the economics of Multi-Housing properties has permitted him to market and convey this asset type with a propensity unmatched by others.
