Robert Nelson Jr.

Robert grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia where he attended elementary through high school in Great Falls and McLean, except for two years of high school in Singapore. Between his first and second year at James Madison University, he met his future wife, Marie, as intern with the U.S. Government in McLean. Marie and Robert owned a townhouse in Reston, VA and currently own their home in Ashburn, VA where they live with their four children (two boys and two girls) and bulldog. The six of them are enthusiastic sports fans and incredibly involved in little league baseball in Ashburn where he has coached eighteen teams in the past six years. Robert has been a real estate hobbyist for more than 10 years monitoring, visiting, and tracking homes for sale in Northern Virginia. Several years ago, he transitioned to full-time from a 15-year career in contract negotiation, project management, facility management, and government security in the government contracting and technology industries. Robert also recently served as the Ashburn Representative to the Loudoun County Communications Commission. He focuses on residential real estate in Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.
