Robert Ortman

Robert Ortman, born in Zeeland, began his Real Estate career in 1974, working for a small real estate agent John Weerstra, of Weerstra Real Estate in Holland. However, during the economic recession of the late 70’s and early 80’s, Robert took a hiatus from Real Estate to pursue his love of photography working in the states of Texas and Washington before returning to West Michigan in 1987. It was then that Robert became licensed to sell real estate in Michigan again and has been successfully selling commercial real estate along the Lakeshore for the past 16 years.


Robert Ortman currently works at S.J. Wisinski & Company, West Michigan’s largest Commercial Real Estate Agency. Robert continues to work for and represent the business interests of the Holland / Zeeland area and while being based in Holland, brings his local expertise to the agency. In fact, in 2000 alone, Robert sold over 15 million dollars in Commercial Properties including Batts Corporate Headquarters in Zeeland, the LeBarge Corporate Building, Grainger Industrial Supply, the City of Holland and McDonalds to name a few.
