I grew up right here in Des Moines area, in my family’s small business, EkDahl’s Meat Market in Union Park area. From an early age, I learned the value of hard work, customer service, and community. That foundation led me to roles in civil engineering, construction, and eventually a degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics.
For 38+ years, I thrived in IT — leading teams through complex transformations, solving big problems, and guiding people through tough decisions. Along the way, I invested in real estate, built custom homes, and even partner co-owner in a resort business in Minnesota, where I gained a deeper perspective on real estate ownership and small business.
So, while I may be new as a Realtor, I’m not new to real estate, problem-solving, or helping people succeed. I know what it’s like to be on both sides — as a homeowner, a business owner, and now as the professional walking you through the process.
