Our new home build/buying experience was seamless thanks to our Realtor Rodney Jones. We first met him on the phone when I called him inquiring about another property. About a week later, I called him to tell him about the Meritage Homes tour we were going to take and he offered to meet us there. From that point on, he was stellar. He was more knowledgeable about the business ins and out than the seller. And she was not offended by his knowledge. He knew all the questions to ask. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the new home build/buying process. He was very patient with my substandard computer skills. He even converted documents so that I was able to sign them from my computer. If he was ever exasperated, you could not tell. He was the go-between for us, the buyer, the builder, the seller and the loan company. Rodney was a godsend in our home buying experience. He stuck with us from beginning to the very end. He is the type of realtor you want to have when selling and/or buying a new home. He explained every detail and not once did we feel like we were left alone. This is the type of realtor that you want. He’s several cuts above the rest! Bar none! Call Rodney Jones before any others. You’ll be so glad you did. Dream Home Found! Rodney was a terrific help in providing multiple leads on homes to view in all the areas we requested. He was very professional & listened to our needs, wants, & desires for our final home (after 12 moves in 33 years). He was always available to speak with via phone & in scheduling site tours, even on a Holiday, which made a big difference in winning the home we wanted before it was snatched up, like is so easy to happen in this greater Charlotte area market.

Rodney was our realtor for our search for and purchase in a 55 plus community in the Charlotte area. We are from out of state and Rodney was great at exposing us to the area options. He is very knowledgeable about the 55 plus options in the area. He helped explain the considerations and issues and was patient as we narrowed down our choices. Rodney was a true professional. We found Rodney through Roger Holloway on YouTube, as we looked to make a big move across the country. We were very impressed with Rodney’s knowledge and experience, as he informed as about the different areas around the metro city in our new home search. Rodney spent multiple days helping us find the perfect home that checked lots of boxes in our new home search.

During the home building process Rodney was always available when we needed him. He provided lots of information, and had great questions, advice and more in all our discussions with the builder. With Roger’s help, Rodney was able to share video updates of the new home during the building process, which made a huge difference being far away. When we ran into obstacles in the home build process Rodney was quickly available to give advice and provide our position with the builder. During a specific incident Rodney was able to reach out and get in touch with the owner of the home building company and get them into multiple calls with us to talk through a resolution. Rodney helped me purchase my first home through a new construction builder. He helped me schedule appointments during the peak of the sellers market of 2022 and ensured that the moment that a plot released, we would know and be on top of it.

After securing a lot in a neighborhood, he helped with identifying what costs/selections were great deals and which ones to avoid. He immediately saved me over $30,000 on construction choices before the house was even started.

Rodney talked to the builder/project manager throughout the process, and the PM mentioned how on top of it Rodney is. He knew what to check in new construction homes and I would even trust Rodney to do an inspection just by himself.

I would recommend Rodney to anyone looking for a home in the Charlotte area.

We had Rodney represent us during our new construction and his assistance was game changing. When we went to our meetings with the builder he would ask the questions we never would of thought to ask preventing us from getting unneeded features. He knew exactly what options to choose during the design process to get the most value out of our new construction and helped keep us in check with frivolous spending. If you are looking for a total Buyer’s Agent that will represent you from start to finish, Rodney Jones is your man. We have bought several houses, but never have I had an Agent be so loyal, trustworthy, intelligent, and just basically there for us on every level, like Rodney Jones. He treats you are his only Client.. always gets back to you usually within the hour, is very attentive and a wonderful listener, and is a joy to work with on your purchase. When we were 100% sure that we wanted to build in this area, Roger recommended his partner, Rodney Jones, to finalize our search. Rodney is a great buyer's agent! Yesterday, we closed on our house and I could not be more pleased with the support we got from Rodney! He was exactly the professional, smart, tough, and committed buyer’s agent we needed. Buying during a pandemic and dealing with some unforeseen buying events was draining and unusual to say the least. But Rodney took it all in stride, adapted easily to any changes that occurred, and stood his ground to protect our interest when things were difficult. I really appreciated Rodney’s immediate willingness to help us walk away from the buy when unnecessary situations were happening. It showed me how committed Rodney was as our buyer’s agent to the core. Thankfully, Rodney helped us navigate those situations and we were able to buy the house. He was a needed professional during the strangest home buying experience we’ve ever had.

Whether you are buying your first home or you are an experienced home buyers like us, a buyer’s agent is very important. I would not have wanted to buy our house or past houses without a buyer’s agent. There is too much at stake to not have someone solely in your corner. Buying a home is the most expensive item most people will ever buy and it comes with lots of unknowns. Plus, when you buy a house you can’t return it to the store for a refund if it’s not as promised. To prevent getting a bad deal, a buyer needs to get every inspection you can to learn that much more about what you are buying. Having a great buyer’s agent, like Rodney gives you even more insight as to what inspections are needed and what you should be concerned about from the inspection report.

For us, Rodney and the closing coordinator, Sherri were the support that just kept on giving. They knew what to check on, have many reliable contacts in the industry, and were 100% responsive to answer any of our questions during every step of the process. I was most impressed with how classy they handled themselves when others were not being that way. I wish Rodney and Sherri could be our buyer’s agent with every big dollar purchase. I will miss the teamwork I got to experience working with them. And as our kids said as we were driving away from the closing, “Rodney is really great. He gets 5 stars from us!”
