About Roger

Roger brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of business to real estate. After serving in the United States Marines specializing as a Cryptologic Linguist in German and French, he graduated with his degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland. Early on in his career, he worked as the Accounting Director for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in Washington, D.C. where he was responsible for the distribution of over 33 billion in appropriations. His responsibilities also included managing accounts for loans, grants and subsidy programs, oversight of ten regional accounting divisions and the administration of government contracts.

From there, Roger moved on to Freddie Mac as Assistant Controller and project lead on a major overhaul of their financial systems. He held the position of COO/CFO for The Echo Group in New Hampshire where he played an integral role in the growth of one of the largest providers of software to the behavioral health industry. He managed mergers and acquisitions and all financial and operational aspects of multiple corporations.

After moving to Sarasota with his wife in 2002, Roger obtained his real estate license and began working in both commercial and residential arenas. Working with his wife, also a real estate agent, he brings his uniquely developed background and business acumen along with his extensive financial knowledge to every transaction.

Roger is a golfer and is very active with his church, St. Thomas More, as the President of The Men of St. Thomas More - an organization devoted to raising money to donate to charitable organizations in the Sarasota area - and as a Lector. He also enjoys spending his time in the kitchen with his wife cooking up gourmet meals. They have two sons, both of whom currently live in California.
