Ron has always had a knack for numbers, which took him away from Minnesota for a few years over the late eighties when he served in the finance division of the U.S. Army in Germany. After a brief spell working at a Minnesota law firm, he continued his military career as an accounting consultant in the Minnesota National Guard.
It was there that he met Tim Walters, who at the time was working to open The Home Buyers. Tim’s dedication to the financial and legal responsibilities associated with properly serving home buyers spoke to him, and after several years learning the ins and outs of the real estate industry, Ron began working as a full time Exclusive Buyers Agent. Twenty-five years later, he is a joint partner in the company and still loves what they do. He makes sure all the buyers he represents understand what makes their purchase a reliable investment in terms of both numbers and integrity.

There is nothing but good things I can say about Ron. When we were searching for a realtor, he was by far the most responsive and took the time to actually answer all of our questions. We were living in NY while looking for a house and Ron would show us houses on facetime. Then when we came out to the twin cities for a week, he showed us every house we wanted to see within our schedule. He helped us understand the process and helped us find the perfect house for us.

My wife and I were buying from out of state and we were linked up with Ron based on a buyer’s agent recommendation site. Before we flew in Ron was diligent in planning what houses we could see and making sure to maximize the amount of houses we could see in our very limited time.
He was incredibly willing to be flexible with his time and spent three solid days with us (including Mother’s Day). When we weren’t together and he was working on paper work he kept us updated (including at 10pm at night when we text him a question).
Ron is excellent in that he doesn’t try and sugar coat a property that isn’t worth your time and money instead letting you see what you like in a house and showing you what might be inconveniences and potentially costly repairs.

Just bought an affordable home here in the cities with Ron as my agent. He was immensely helpful throughout the whole process, always responsive, always professional, always in a good mood too - quite a feat in and of itself, considering how harrowing the affordable market here can be sometimes. When the seller of the home I ended up purchasing refused to proceed with my offer because my prequal was through a national bank, he was able to refer me to a local lender who quickly handled my qualification and ultimately allowed me to close on the home.
