My name is Rose Roper and I am a Licensed Real Estate Agent in New York with Rand Realty. Prior to joining the Rand Realty family, I spent over 25 years as a leader in healthcare. Healthcare is about serving individuals as well as families and helping them meet their goals to recover and return to their home and community. Serving with an attitude of Compassion, empathy, excellence and respect is critical in facilitating a positive recovery. Watching a person come into a hospital with helplessness and pain written all over their face, and then see them leave with a smile on their face, feeling stronger and healthier than when they came in is just priceless! Some do not leave as happy or not leave at all, but meeting them right where they are in whatever condition, goes a long way.

My spiritual mom is one of those individuals who had to make many life adjustments after experiencing a very serious illness. This gave me the opportunity to shift from working in a healthcare organization to assisting her while she made these life adjustments in the home and community. As she continued to get stronger, I decided to move into another industry, which like healthcare, is about helping individuals and families meet their goals. Real Estate was the obvious answer.
