Raised in Provo, Utah, Ruben moved at 19 to the Washington, D.C. area where he majored in business at Montgomery College and co-managed a family restaurant. Restaurant management required excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, along with a strong work ethic, all of which provided a firm foundation for his subsequent move to real estate.
